A mixed-use development including 974 condominiums and apartments to be built near the Union City BART station was approved by the Newark City Planning Commission. The City Council will review the project on June 8.
The project was proposed by Integral Communities who has also proposed a project to build 200+ homes in Newark.
A total of 33 residential buildings (3-5 stories tall) and a community building are planned.
